Top 4 European Soccer Leagues compared to last year at the same time (Week 11/12 - November)

These stats should clarify which teams has developed positively in the top European leagues in comparison to last year. The analysis compares each team at the same time last year - it includes only teams that have played the last two years in the top division of the country. Top 4 Leagues are in this case Premier League, La Liga, Serie A and Bundesliga.

As always this report was done with Jedox and can be dynamically filtered by user.

Example Borussia Dortmund

The basis for sorting are the points gained additionally - compared to last year (absolute value - for BVB +18). Furthermore, the improved ranking is displayed (from 16 to 2) and the winning (+6 more wins) / draw (+-0) and loss (-6) deviations. Further comparisons show additional goals scored (BVB: +21 | +150%) and points per game in the 2015-16 season (2,42).

Freitag Abend Spiele enden in der Bundesliga oft 1:1 oder?

Analyse der Freitag Abend Spiele der Bundesliga 14/15 (Json File Anbindung)

Die Vorlage für meine Auswertung war die Analyse von André Petras, der die 30 häufigsten Bundesliga-Ergebnisse in seinem Blog grafisch visualisierte. Mein Interesse bestand darin, die Ergebnisse der letzten Saison unter die Lupe zu nehmen, um hauptsächlich meine Mittags-/ Stammtisch Analyse, dass die Bundesliga Spiele am Freitag gerne mal 1-1 Unentschieden enden, zu untermauern.

Am häufigsten kam letztes Jahr das Ergebnis 1-0 zustande. 32 Mal endete eine Bundesliga-Partie mit 1-0 für das Heimteam (10,46%). Das von mir an Freitag Abenden favorisierte Ergebnis von 1-1 liegt knapp dahinter und wurde in der letzten Saison 27 erzielt.

Irgendwie lässt sich meine These nun gar nicht mehr halten - auf diesem Wege schonmal Entschuldigung für diese Falsch-Info an meine Kollegen ;) Das einzige Spiel was an einem Freitag 1-1 endete war übrigens:

Auffälliger war das 1-1 eher am Sonntag:

In dieser Saison endeten übrigens schon zwei Spiele an einem Freitag Abend 1-1 (Hertha vs. Bremen am 2.Spieltag sowie letzte Woche Köln vs. Ingolstadt am 7.Spieltag).

Die wichtigsten Finanzkennzahlen von Borussia Dortmund im Vergleich

In diesem Dashboard sind die wichtigsten Finanzkennzahlen der Borussia Dortmund GmbH & Co. Kommanditgesellschaft auf Aktien gegenübergestellt. 

Verglichen werden die am 20.02.2015 publizierten Zahlen vom ersten Halbjahr 2013/14 (Schwarz) mit dem Vorjahr (Gelb) und dem ersten Konzernzwischenlagebericht von vor 7 Jahren (Grau).

Beispiel: Umsatzerlöse

Die Umsatzerlöse lagen in der ersten Jahreshälfte bis zum 31.12.2014 bei 136,60 Mio. €. Im Vergleich zum Vorjahr bedeutet dies eine Steigerung von 8,5% (Vorjahr 125,94 Mio. €). In grau wird der Vergleichswert aus der grauen Vorzeit 2008 gegenübergestellt, am 31.12.2008 wurden Umsatzerlöse in Höhe von ca. 50 Mio. € erreicht - damit wurden in den letzten 7 Jahren eine Steigerung der Umsatzerlöse um 172,9% erwirtschaftet.


Die Finanzkennzahlen im mittleren Bereich verwenden die gleiche Achsen-Skalierung und sind somit untereinander vergleichbar:

Auch die Entwicklung des Eigenkapitals, der Schulden und des Finanzmittelbestandes sind an einer Skala ausgerichtet. Hier werden auch wieder die Farb-Notationen von oben verwendet (Schwarz=Ist, Gelb=Vorjahr und Grau=t-2).

Salary Comparison in American Sports and European Soccer (EN)

How much $ did the Teams invest for a Win in American Sports or European Soccer!

Based on the "Global Sports $alaries Surv€y" from sportingintelligence we did some analysis and a connection to the victories made in a season. “The Numbers for American Sports pertain to the 2013-14 seasons. [..] And for the Premier League, Bundesliga, La Liga and Serie A the salaries reflect summer 2013.” (Global Sports Salaries Survey 2014, S.06) 
Accordingly, the victories in Soccer leagues are from the 2012-13 season.  

For this analysis, we have created an all-in-one dashboard. You have the option to choose the sport, the league and the measure that you want to represent. Above you see the leagues in combination with the average of the selected measure. 

Clicking the League column, the dashboard is filtered and the teams in the league are visualized in a sorted table in which you can also see which teams are above average and which teams are below.
